"Who Killed Amanda Palmer"- Debut solo album from Amanda Palmer

Amanda Palmer recently released a new album Who Killed Amanda Palmer, for which she received production help from Ben Folds. Piano shines through as the focal point on every track, along with a wondrous collection of full band instruments. The whole album is solid, with several tracks standing out:

1. "Ampersand"- A beautiful, delicate piano sound with equally impactful lyrics-- "I'm not gonna live my life on one side of an ampersand/Even if I went with you I'm not the girl you think I am. And I'm not gonna match you or lose my voice completely/No I'm not gonna watch you cause I'm not the one that's crazy".

2. "Runs In the Family"- Very fast paced--violin lifts it to the next level.

3. "Astronaut"

Simply put, if you like piano, you'll love Amanda Palmer. Fans of Patrick Watson, Basia Bulat , and Ida will enjoy. Amanda Palmer is a member of The Dresden Dolls.
